Used be awesome good- now mushy with leathery skin

Had I given this review in June it would have been 5 stars+. Sadly, the last 2 jars I purchased were not crisp and enjoyable as they used to be,but were mushy with a really tough skin- our guests, my wife and I all had to spit it out- it was not edible.
DISAPPOINTING. Did Matt & Steve change their recipe?? If so, they need to check out these reviews and figure out how to make their pickles like they used to be.

Tough Pickle Skin

Tried the pickle spears, the flavour was great but the pickles were mushy with extremely tough skin.

Very Mushy pickles

Maybe we had a bad jar but these were the mushiest jar of pickles we have ever had. Only thing that had some toughness to it was the skin.
